Your documents are never indexed, resold, or used to train detection models.

Never just a number.

A readability score is a number — and we never show it alone. Every score comes with what it means in plain language (who can read this comfortably) and how to improve it: the specific sentences and constructions dragging it down.

That's the difference against score-only tools. You don't leave with a verdict you can't act on — you leave knowing exactly what to fix, then re-check to watch it move.

What drags a score down

Every finding is sorted into a named cause with its own count — so "hard to read" stops being a feeling and becomes a list you can work through.

Long sentences

Past about 25 words, readers start re-reading. The biggest single drag on any score — and one split fixes it.

Word echoes

The same word ringing twice in close range. Invisible while you write, loud while they read.

Indirect phrasing

Passive voice and roundabout constructions that make the reader work for your point.

Writing that's easy to read gets read

In a deliverable, article, or thesis, clear sentences carry your argument further — readers stay with you instead of re-reading. See which sentences to smooth, and make them land.
